Wintermute 2.5D game engine to play with =o

Basically, the (now free) Wintermute Engine is for creating 2.5D games (3D actors moving within a 2D background) ... very very easy to get into, I don't know any kind of programming but the process makes it very easy to do even just a little bit of something with no knowledge whatsoever - ie, you can create an entire playable scene from scratch just using a couple of pictures you've made, some preset scripts and one of the basic 3D actors.
Might appeal to someone who has a basic knowledge of scripting + drawing stuff.
