We've been asked to take down the Destroy toon by Tim who is apparently Ladytron's manager. For some reason the free publicity, plugging of the Ladytron site and their video isn't something he thinks is a good thing. By our figures the Destroy Everything You Touch video got at least 100,000 extra views thanks to our linking.
So it's gone. I still like the band and I hope everyone who found out about them through us will too. Just a shame we can't do a tribute for them when I really love their stuff.

How incredibly misguided Tim is. I merely echo the comments before me, but I had never heard of the band before W&B - and they've released four albums. And 'Witching Hour' now gets pride of place in my music collection. Lunacy by the management.

Both Weebl's stuff and Ladytron are based in the UK. The law several people referred to protecting parodies against copyright infringement suits is only a US thing, parody doesn't get the same protection in the UK - more's the pity.
