We're working on the new Cat Face and it's been quite tricky to make some of it work so it's now going to be finished on Monday instead. Sorry about that.
Instead I've got two games for you this week and there's some great stuff in the Peepl's Stuff section, so prep yourself for a bunch o' links.
The X Spot
A nice new game by the chap/chaps/chapesses at www.pencilkids.com along the lines of Warioware.
Battalion : Skirmish
Ok. So it's a one level demo but I think this is going to be awesome. It's basically Advance Wars and that's no bad thing.
Peepl's Stuff
So many good things aproved this week. Good work people. Here's my top two.
Action Pals
Nice little game
The Test Of Doom
One of my favorite submittions so far.
I've messed up a little bit with our schedule resulting in no new cartoon this week. Next week there's probably going to be two new things for you, possibly even three but that would be silly.
So to make up for my messing up here's a game by the chaps at Armor Games called The Mind Bender.
Also in other news; you might see or hear an advert that sounds like I made it (UK only). Fact is: I did. So you don't need to email me about it saying someones stolen my work. Also I've got Webmonkey Ash working on some tweaks to the site that will reward posting to the Peepls Stuff section so keep an eye out for that too.
Due to all the moaning from people with little-to-no hand-eye coordination we've added an easy mode to the DJ Pie Safety game. The scores for the easy version are a lot lower though so if you actually want to make it onto the high score table you'll need to get good.
Cast your minds back to a day when we asked for poster and music submissions for a game, all in the name of anti knife crime. You done that? Good because now we can finally reveal the game that we done made with the things what you did.
Party!
Lady folk, and indeed, gentlemisters we can now present the DJ Pie Safety game
As you've probably noticed by all the mascot changes and banners, we've been making a game for a science and maths based game. Now.... That game is here.
Based on the winning idea by Mr Noah Wentworth, you must stop your village from being flooded by the leaking dam by flinging stuff at a giant cork in order to slow the flow (That rhymes!). Apples, cows, sheep, farmers, anything goes.
We've also been blogging about how the game was made so you can get your learn on if you wish. We'll probably also give the source code away at some point as well so you can have a play around with it yourself. We're nice like that.
Finally a big thanks to everyone who entered, not just from us but also the guys and lady-guys funding all this: DCSF.
