I understood it straight away.
Basically, click on a card from the top that is either one card higher or lower that the card at the bottom.
Once you can't go, click the 'next card'.
The wild card counts as any card you want it to.

For example, if you have a 4, you can put a 3 or a 5 on. If you have a king, you can put a queen or an ace on.
